We were approached at HUSH to generate some motion graphics for Netflix's documentary about unearthing tombs at a site near Cairo.  These are some of the designs that never made it into the edit due to editorial decisions.

The designs purpose was to illustrate the vast timeline of the Egyptian civilisation. Ancient Egyptians represented time as a circle, rather than a linear ruler in the fashion you might think we use.  In 3D using metric units, I simply assigned 1cm to equal 10 years.  Thus working out radius of a circle means 1000 years = 1m.  I could then plot out all the major event points that were required for the story using measurements of distance... you still with me?

More to follow once it is released....
